Service Agreement

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

Welcome to Crossmap! The services provided to you are subject to the following Service Agreement, which may be updated periodically. In addition to the service agreement, you may be subject to rules and regulations posted specifically for a Crossmap service. If you use a service provided by a third party in association with Crossmap, you may be subject to the service terms that they issue.

2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Crossmap provides users with a large array of Christian content for the spiritual development and growth of its members. By using theses services, you acknowledge that Crossmap may use advertisements within the services from outside vendors, and that the services may contain other communications from Crossmap. Any new service that is offered through Crossmap will also be bound by the Service Agreement. The services provided on Crossmap are offered "as-is," and that Crossmap holds no responsibility for the failure to store information or personalized settings. However, we will make all efforts to ensure a rewarding Crossmap experience.

You are responsible for accessing the service, and may incur charges from third parties, such as Internet access and airtime charges. You will be responsible for those fees, as well as feed associated with delivery and display of advertisements. In addition, you must provide the equipment necessary to access the Crossmap services.

3. CROSSMAP PRIVACY POLICY

4. SPECIAL WARNINGS FOR INTERNATIONAL USE

Recognizing the global nature of the Internet, you agree to comply with all local rules regarding online conduct and acceptable content. Specifically, you agree to abide by all applicable rules for the transmission of data to and from the United States.

5. CONTENT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Crossmap does not claim ownership over the content that is submitted by its users. However, to make your content available for inclusion within Crossmap, you agree to grant Crossmap the following world-wide and royalty free license(s) as applicable.

The purpose of Crossmap is to provide a Christian environment in which Christians worldwide can gather to be one in Christ. By submitting content to Crossmap, you are agreeing that the submission is made in good faith, remembering that it should be conducive to the spiritual growth and enlightenment of other members. Material submitted must represent the Christian faith, but must also respect the beliefs of all people.

By submitting content, you agree to allow Crossmap to post content in publicly accessible areas. Content that is submitted is subject to distribution, reproduction, modification, and adaptation for use within the Crossmap community. The license granted to Crossmap will last as long as Crossmap maintains access to the content. Content is inclusive of all media types submitted to Crossmap, including but not limited to pictures, movies, stories, etc.

6. INDEMNITY

You agree to not to hold Crossmap or any of its associates and affiliates responsible for any claim, including attorney's fees, by any third party due to content that you submit and make available through Crossmap services.

7. NO RESALE OF SERVICE

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any of the services without permission from the Crossmap team.

8. GENERAL PRACTICES REGARDING USE AND STORAGE

You acknowledge that Crossmap may establish general time frames with which content will be maintained on the server. This includes email messages, forum posting, uploaded content, and any other content that is generated by the user through Crossmap services. You agree not to hold Crossmap responsible for damages incurred by the deletion or failure to store any of the content held within Crossmap or its affiliate's servers. Furthermore, you acknowledge that Crossmap may change these practices and time frame limits at any time, with or without notice.

9. MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE

Crossmap maintains the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Crossmap services without notice. You agree that Crossmap will not be liable for any damage incurred by the modification or discontinuation of a service.

10. DEALINGS WITH ADVERTISERS

Any correspondence or business dealings made by you and by Crossmap affiliates will remain in the jurisdiction of the two parties. You agree not to hold Crossmap responsible for any loss or damages incurred as the result of dealings with advertisers within Crossmap.

11. LINKS

Crossmap and its affiliates provide links to other World Wide Web sites and resources. Crossmap does not have any control over these resources, so by using Crossmap, you agree that Crossmap is not responsible not does it endorse the content found through these links. Although every effort is made to guarantee the wholesomeness of the web pages found in the Crossmap directories, we cannot guarantee that each one represents orthodox doctrines within the Christian religion. You acknowledge that Crossmap is not responsible for any damage caused by content or goods available through Crossmap links.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

You expressly agree that Crossmap will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, resulting from:
a. The use or inability to use the services.
b. Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmission or data.
c. Any matter related to Crossmap services.

13. COPYRIGHTS and COPYRIGHT AGENTS

By using Crossmap, you agree that Crossmap holds copyrights over all content held within the services. If you would like to reproduce or use any of the content found within Crossmap, please contact the Crossmap team below and ask for permission.

If you have found that another party is infringing on the copyrights of Crossmap and would like to report it, please contact the Crossmap agent using the same information below.

If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been violated within the Crossmap services or within one of the pages hosted by Crossmap, please contact the Crossmap team at http://www.crossmap.com/about/contact.htm.

14. GENERAL INFORMATION

The service agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Crossmap, and governs your use on the service. You may also be subject to additional terms dictated by third-parties and Crossmap affiliates. The service agreement is within the jurisdiction of the State of California.

The section titles in the Service Agreement are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.

15. VIOLATIONS

Please report violations of the service agreement to our customer care center.
