"With all my heart, I want to leave you with the truth," Billy Graham, who turns 95 on Thursday, says in the half-hour video to be aired from November 7 to November 10, 2013, and millions of viewers on over 500 TV stations are expected to watch what could be his last sermon. Over 28,000 churches across the U.S. will turn to the special video program for these four days. Individual homes will also be the gathering hubs to stream the video.
My Hope's flagship program "The Cross" is airing tonight on Fox News at 10 p.m. (ET), which is expected to be most viewed broadcast. TBN aired the video at 8 p.m. (ET) Thursday night.
"Jesus endured all that in our place because of our sins," Billy Graham, who looks more frail than ever, says in the video. "We deserve the cross. We deserve hell. We deserve judgment."
"People don’t want to hear they are sinners. To many people it's an offense. The cross is offensive. Because it directly confronts the evil that dominates the parts of this world," the evangelist continued.
In the life-changing video, Rapper LeCrae and Christian rocker Lacey Strum give honest and revealing testimony about Christ's power in transforming their lives.
"The Cross" is set to be broadcast on 115 network television stations nationwide, along with 20 national Christian networks and 370 individual Christian TV stations.
The video in Spanish will also be broadcast on national and local channels.
"These churches are giving us projections that they are anticipating a quarter million home gatherings or more in conjunction with the airing and distribution of Mr. Graham's new message, "The Cross," said Preston Parrish, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association's (BGEA) vice president of My Hope.
"It has truly become the largest undertaking of the BGEA ever in North America."
