iPhone 5S and iOS 7 was just announced by Apple and consumers are forced to weigh their options on their new smartsphone selection. HTC One Max and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are the two of the lead contenders in the battle for best new smartphone. iPhone 5S, HTC One Max, and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 each boast of amazing specs and features, but which one will you be taking home?
Apple unveiled iPhone 5S and iOS 7 at their special Sept. 10 conference. While fans are excited for the new operation system iOS 7, and the new A7, 64-bit processor, the measly 4-inch screen display still remains as Apple's weakness. Nevertheless, the premium iPhone 5S does also come with M7 motion coprocessor, Retina display, 1136x640, and 326 ppi.
The iPhone 5S video camera comes built with 1080p HD video recording at 3fps, true tone flash and slo-mo video! The outward appearance of the iPhone 5S is largely the same minus the new finishing options. The Apple device will now come in Space Gray, Silver, and Gold.
The price is still quite moderate at $199 for the 16GB, $299 for the 32GB, and 64GB for the $399.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 takes the screen size up a notch from the 5.5-inch Galaxy Note 2. However, it still remains safe with its HD Super AMOLED 5.7-inch display, 1920x1080 pixel resolution, and ppi 386. The processors will come in two options, one with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC at 2.3GHz, and the second with Samsung Exynos 5 Octa.
The RAM is set at 3GB with 32GB internal storage that can expand to 64GB. This device runs on Jelly Bean 4.3.
Pre-Orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 have been made available for AT&T and Verizon customers. Rumors suggest that the shipping date may actually be around October, and not September.
HTC's phablet, code named T6 has recently been confirmed to be named the One Max. The new phablet outs the Galaxy Note 3 in terms of screen size with a 5.9-inch display wit 1920x1080 pixel resolution. The processor is clocks in at 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S800 and 2GB of RAM. The camera is quite moderate with 2.1 megapixels in its front-facing lens and 4 mega-pixels on the rear camera.
The release date of the HTC One Max has been quietly rumored for September. However, no official news has been revealed as of late. The phablet was expected to debut at IFA Berlin 2013 but did not. Leaked images from various sources have given consumers a good idea of what to expect when the One Max finally makes its appearance.
