Missy Robertson of Duck Dynasty launches clothing line in collaboration with Southern Fashion House.
Feeling that she has a calling in her life, Missy Robertson says that God has given her family a platform of their television show and she is able to see a bigger purpose than just wearing cute clothes. She wishes she and her family can make a statement and try to be modest, be classic and be fun all at the same time.

"I felt there was a void in the market for busy, working moms who want to look put together without having to put a lot of effort into it while staying modest and age-appropriate. These styles are reflective of the fun new fashions that can always be found in the junior section of department stores. However, the silhouettes in the collection are intended to flatter women of all ages, shapes, and sizes," says Missy Robertson.
The result is a new clothing line called Missy Robertson by Southern Fashion House, a collaboration with Stephanie Carter's Southern Fashion House, which produces Judith March, Jacque and Janis clothing lines and DejaVu boutiques.
"I have always wanted to do a line with longer hemlines but simply needed the inspiration to do so. When I met Missy, she inspired me to put the collection together using my design and retail background, and so our collaboration began," says Stephanie Carter of Southern Fashion House in the company's latest release.
Missy said she initially thought that the target consumer would be a woman like herself - a busy, working mom who is always on the go. That is, until her 19-year-old cousin began borrowing pieces from her. The demand for stylish, yet comfortable and modest clothing from all different ages has surprised Missy. "literally everyone's in this line, " says Missy in the video.
According to the company release, their 2014 Spring Collection -debuting this month at Market in Atlanta, Dallas and Las Vegas- consists of approximately 55 pieces including dresses, sportswear, light cover-ups, and mix-and-match tops that are both versatile and affordable.
