The new Kindle Fire HD 2 and Kindle Fire 3 2013 release date is rumored to be just around the corner. The Amazon tablets are expected to be released in September or October for early holiday shopping. The new Kindle Fire HD 2 and Kindle Fire 3 are loaded with new features, improved specs and a rumored new outward design.
The new Kindle Fire HD 2 and Kindle Fire 3 are expected to carry "significant" upgrades in terms of hardware, software, and appearance, upon its release date, Extreme Tech reports. As far as appearance, Extreme Tech aslo reports that the Kindle Fire HD 2 (unofficially named) will be lighter, though exact dimensions have yet to be released. While the Kindle tablets are known for the rounded look. The new tablets may be more squared on the edges with a chiseled appearance.
For Hardware, the 7 inch version of the Fire HD 2 will have a 1920x1200 screen display, 2GB or RAM, around 2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, Wi-Fi, a front-facing camera, and some storage options of 16, 32, and 64GB. The 8.9-inch version will have a display of 2560x1600 and a rear-facing camera in addition to the other specs. The Kindle Fire 3 will have a larger display from its previous models with 1280x800. The 1GB RAM is expected to remain the same.
In the inner life of the new 2013 Kindle tablets will not have the imminent Android 5.0, but instead Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. 4.2.3 is expected to be available soon after the release.
Extreme Tech suggests that the price of the HD tablets will probably match the usually prices-- $200 for the 16GB 7 inch variety and $270 for the 8.9 inch. The Kindle Fire 3 price is likely to remain the same at $160.
