On October 7 in Moscow, representatives of the "Orthodox human rights analytical center" detained eight individuals who shared the Gospel in suburban trains and were handing out New Testaments of Gideon brothers.

The detainees were handed over to the police patrol, and then the two brothers were taken to the police department. Orthodox activists have written statements about holding the detainees responsible under part 4 Art. 5.26 of the Administrative Code (exercise of missionary activity in violation of the law on freedom of conscience, freedom of religion and religious associations).
