Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 may welcome some more members in the upcoming weeks, stirring some more competitions in the crowded tablet market.
The 7-inch member of the Galaxy Tab 3 family was first unveiled last week, and is set to be released sometime this month.
Rumors point to a further release of an 8-inch and a 10.1-inch versions of the Galaxy Tab 3.
Sometime during the week starting June 3, Samsung is expected to roll out the Galaxy Tab 3 in 8.0 and 10.1 versions, according to Sam Mobile's trusted confidential sources.
The Galaxy Tab 3 will bring "better performance and multimedia experiences to the user's fingertips," Samsung promised.
"With the new Galaxy Tab 3, Samsung has evolved its range of innovative tablets, making them smaller and easier to carry, while increasing the user experience overall," the South Korean tech giant said in a press release.
The new tablet comes with a sleek design and specs such as a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1, JellyBean, a 3-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front camera, 3G+Wi-Fi connectivity, and a 4,000 mAh battery.
The main enhancements from the Galaxy Tab 2 seem to be limited to the professor and the front camera.
According to Benchmark tests conducted by You Mobile, Galaxy Tab 3 has better graphics than the Galaxy Tab 2. The change in graphic quality may be attributed to the company's use of Vivantech GPU and the extra 0.2 GHz, YouMobile alleged.
