Tasha Cobbs, Grammys 2014 Best Gospel Music Performer

LA---The 56th Annual Grammy Awards were delivered to the musicians last night in Los Angeles. For gospel / contemporary Christian music awards, Tasha Cobbs, of "Break Every Chain [Live]" was the winner of the best gospel/contemporary Christian music performance, among totally 5 nominees.
Cobbs gave her gratitude to the voters who took a chance on "a country girl from Jesup, Georgia."

She has been brought up as a worship team leader since her teenage years in the church to lead the congregates to worship God. Cobbs dedicated her first Grammy award to her father whom is a pastor.
Currently, she serves in the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship as Worship Leader, and serves as Worship Pastor at the dReam Center Church of Atlanta.
The winning song, "Break Every Chain [Live]" is not only a piece of contemporary music, but also convey the important message that the name of Jesus can break every chain of people.
According to the official website of Cobbs, "I have ministered it at my church a few times, and it always has the same affect-chains are broken. I have messages on Facebook and Twitter from people who have been freed as a result of the song. It releases freedom."
