Full Job Description
Perform basic Finance Department functions by completing tasks related to the contribution process, accounts payable, credit card reporting and assist in the completion of other finance department responsibilities while maintaining operations by following policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to)
Assist with Monday morning counting and deposit preparation
Input contribution data
Process Accounts Payable invoices
Review and process church Credit Card reports
Assist with Year-End Contribution Statements
Research and address questions and concerns from contributors
Cross-train on various tasks based on Finance Department needs and procedures
Monitor the Finance Department voice mailbox
Perform other activities as requested by the Bookkeeper, Director of Finance or Director of Accounting, to include support when others in the department are on vacation
Integrity and trust
Proficient in verbal and written communication
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
Data entry, accounting experience preferred.
Reliable transportation required.
Knowledge of both Mac environment and Microsoft Office 365 software.
