He wiped out the written Law with its rules. The Law was against us. It opposed us. He took it away and nailed it to the cross.
My Savior, There’s not enough words to properly describe the feelings I have when I think about the nails that pierced Your flesh. With each blow of the hammer, my sins were nailed to the cross. The guilt, the shame, all the worry I’ve ever felt, were nailed to the cross. My past, present, and future were nailed to the cross.
Thank You for the chance at a fresh start given through the blood You shed at Calvary. I owe You everything, yet will will never be able to fully repay my debt. As I lay my life at the foot of Your cross, I want to shout Your name to the world to let them know the love You have to offer, and how You died for all.
I pray this in the name of Jesus,
