There have been a lot of rumors that Huawei will be unveiling their next flagship smartphone, the rumored Huawei Mate 8, in the upcoming IFA 2015 event in Berlin. Here's the latest on 'Huawei Mate 8' Leak, Rumored Specs, and News.
Since its predecessor, the Ascend Mate 7, was also announced in September 2014 and released the following month, it is not such a farfetched idea that the Huawei Mate 8 will be announced during the IFA 2015 which is scheduled on September 2, just a little more than two weeks from now.
So what are the rumored specs of the upcoming Huawei Mate 8?
The Huawei Mate 8 phablet will come with a 6-inch display and a QHD (2560 x 1440 resolution). It will be powered by Huawei's Kirin 950 chipset. The upcoming Huawei Mate 8 is said to be released in two variants, the first will have a 3 GB RAM with 32 GB built-in memory and the second will have a more powerful 4 GB RAM with a 64 GB built-in memory. It is also said that it will have a dual-SIM capability, with the second SIM slot convertible to a microSD card slot (of up to 128 GB) for those who needs more storage space.
The upcoming Huawei Mate 8 will also up the ante with regards to its camera, with the phone rumored to come with an impressive 20 MP rear camera from Sony. As if that's not enough, it is also rumored to come with a much more impressive 8 MP front facing camera, that will also have a front-LED flash.
The Ascend Mate 7 already came out with a much hailed 4100 mAh battery, so it is very much doubtful that they will release a more powerful device with a much less powerful battery.
The Huawei flagship smartphone is also rumored to come with a fingerprint scanner and Android 5.0 Lollipop when shipped.
There have been a lot of supposed 'leaked' pictures of the upcoming Huawei flagship device, with known leakster, Evan Blass also uploading a supposed Huawei device to be announced during the IFA 2015. Is this the rumored Huawei Mate 8? tweet below
