There has been countless adaptations and remakes of Tarzan, from the book written by Edgar Rice Burroughs ‘Tarzan of the Apes’. The Legend of Tarzan is not simply another origin story, the upcoming 2016 remake shows Tarzan already having adapted to life in England with his wife Jane Porter, back to the literal jungle he grew up in.

Director: David Yates

The Legend of Tarzan is directed by David Yates, the director most famous for directing the last four installments of the Harry Potter series. David Yates is also helming the upcoming Harry Potter spinoff, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
