By Yumi Redfield

To make the wait for The Legend of Zelda a little easier, Nintendo previously announced that they will be releasing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. With the release date just a little more than a month away, Nintendo just released The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD that concentrated on the game’s amiibo features.

The trailer provided a few information on how to utilize the amiibo for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD.

The video showed and explained that the Wolf Link amiibo is used to unlock the “Cave of Shadows” where Wolf Link and Midna would face hordes of enemies. Upon completion of the Cave of Shadows, the player would again need the Wolf Link amiibo to save the remaining hearts. In the future, players can revisit the Cave of Shadows to beat your personal high score.

The great news is that the Wolf Link amiibo is not only for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, the Wolf Link amiibo can also be used in the upcoming The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U.

The Wolf Link amiibo, according to GamesRadar comes bundled with retail packages of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, unfortunately, it is not currently available in the eShop.

Other Legend of Zelda amiibo figures will also be very useful in the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. Using a Zelda or Sheik amiibo will refill the player’s hearts which is very useful when in a bind, using a Link or a Toon Link amiibo will refill arrows. Using the Ganondorf amiibo is not for the weak of hearts as using Ganondorf will make Link take 2x more damage than normal.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is scheduled to launch for the Wii U on March 4 in both North America and Europe, while it will not launch until March 10 in Japan. Meanwhile, The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U still does not have a specific release date except for 2016.
