WWE 2K16 DLC Release date, News and Update: Legends Pack Update!

Fans of the professional wrestling video game, WWE 2k16 will be delighted to know that the highly anticipated Legend Pack DLC will be available of December 22, 2015.

The game's publisher, 2k Sports have released information about their upcoming Legends Pack DLC for grappling sim WWE 2k16. Those who are interested to make the purchase should know that the Legends Pack will cost $8.99.

Those who have a Season Pass however may download it for free.  Legends Pack DLC will launch on December 22nd for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of the game and will contain six new WWE Superstars for use in-game.

Legends Pack will include, Big Boss Man, Mr. Perfect, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Trish Stratus, Lita, and "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes.

WWE 2k16's first DLC offers at least 30 different moves that bring a whole new difference in gaming. According to its official site, players can now make new and varied moves in their attacks especially with the upcoming release date.

The new game now contains 30 new and varied moves, featuring Avalanche Ram as popularized by Diva Paige, Corner Ezuigiri as popularized by Diva Nikki Bella, Dragon Sleeper as popularized by Superstar Finn Balor, Standing Crossface Chickenwing as popularized by Superstar Stardust, and Sidewinder Suplex as popularized by Superstar Kevin Owens.

2K announced on their social media accounts that WWE 2K16 will feature the "largest roster in the game's history", featuring over 120 unique playable characters, nearly double the 67 that were in last year's game. A developer for the game then clarified that the 120 unique playable characters count does not include potential DLC, and that all 120 characters are included and will be released with the game.

2K revealed that despite "push(ing) as hard as we could" to include them, for "various reasons," Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bayley (the Four Horsewomen of NXT) will not be in the game or included as DLC. 2K also revealed that WWE denied them the inclusion of Cody Rhodes as himself in the game, though he was included as his Stardust gimmick.

WWE 2K16 is currently available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
